Psalm XVIII I will love Thee O God my strength

Drew up anchor +
entered Sound.
Were to disembark at
8am. Did no do so
till about 1 pm
About 60 of us sent
to hospital. Plymouth.
Quite jovial about being
here. "It's England!
My England! So long
waited for!
Plymouth Hyde Park
Hospital. No 4 Southern General
Here we are. Ralph + I meet
each other. Ralph is a
fine boy. Hoping for him.
Beds good, meals good.

Sister kind but Orderlies
what shall I say? Use the words of
Ralph. "The most curious _animals_
met on voyage". No go! Do not
bath, cannot get out of their own
way. We smile - smile - smile"
If this is all we're expected to
do, we'll have _'some'_ time.

We were very much struck
with the old buildings
coming from Devonport to
Plymouth per Motor - 15 min
drive by lady chauffeur.
Reminds me of Dicken's
description of England +
old pictures seen. Everything
seems to be under military.
Everyone excepting police.
England, home + beauty!
